During the lockdown, the artist thinks of a jewel that reproduces the structure of Covid, an image that in collective memory is now consecrated as a symbol of the decline of an era. Through the thread she realizes the main body, and with the collaboration of the goldsmith artist Paolo Mangano gives life to the first jewel “Covid”, a pendant that through the contents of which Barbara Abaterusso becomes spokesperson, can act as an antidote and represent a symbol of rebirth, in remembering every day the profound meaning of human values and life.
